Barricade Components

HWYCOM's FRP barricades are easy to install and maintain in both rural and urban applications, and are available in safety yellow, gray, white, brown, or green. Our three inch fiberglass reinforced plastic tube can be used as a permanent or temporary sign support, direct buried. When direct buried, it does not require a foundation. The multi-purpose base can be used as a temporary sign support either at a 7' or 1' mounting height.

The multi-purpose base can also be used for a Type III Barricade, 4' to 8' long or for a Type I Barricade. The multi-purpose base has also been certified by the Texas Transportation Institute to comply with NCHRP 350.

A set of 2 H-Braces can be used to attach a 3" fiberglass reinforced plastic post to a 1 x 6 or between a set of 1 x 6's on a temporary sign support.

A set of Cross Braces can be used to attach 1 x 6 skids perpendicular to a set of 1 x 6's and H-Braces on a temporary sign support.
