The Universal Anchor Bolt-Down Base is designed for concrete decks with a minimum thickness of 2½ inches. Locations where the bolt-down base are needed are often dangerous areas for a sign crew to work. The Universal Anchor Bolt-Down Base is designed to be installed quickly and easily. In addition, maintaining sign knock-downs can be completed by a sign crew in as little as 20 minutes, thereby reducing crew exposure to traffic.

The Bolt-Down Base is also approved by the Texas Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. The Texas Transportation Institute certified the units for compliance with NCHRP 350 crash test requirements.
